Peter ‘Bon’ Bonsall-Boone had a criminal record for most of his life because he was gay – up until 1984 homosexual acts were illegal in NSW. He and his partner of more than 50 years, Peter de Waal, fought tirelessly to clear Bon’s name. Part of these efforts included the creation of CAMP NSW and the Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service of NSW – which is the “GLCS NSW” in “Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW“!
